Payment, Taxes & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards are accepted, or you can use an existing PayPal account.
Payment is going directly to our PayPal account. Cards accepted by PayPal: Mastercard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit and PayPal.

My payment has failed. what can I do now?

If your payment fails, we would first recommend contacting your bank to rule out any problems with your card. If you know for sure, that your credit card is ok, please contact us, and we will investigate if the problem is in our website.

How do I get my money back?

My payment has been taken more than once. How do I get my money back?
If you believe a payment has been taken more than once please contact our Customer Services team on info@elfyshop.com and they will be happy to investigate.

Taxes

Only orders with a European shipping address will include the sales tax since we are shipping from Ireland. No taxes are applied to the other European states.
No taxes are applied for orders shipped outside of the European Union but you may have duties, taxes and/or custom fees charged upon delivery. These fees vary from country to country. You are responsible for paying these fees. If you refuse to pay them upon delivery, your package will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will refund your product (minus shipping fees for both ways).
For more information, we strongly advise you to check with the Customs department in your country about its import policies.

Pricing

All prices indicated are in European currency (€EUR). The prices indicated do not include taxes (if applicable) or shipping and handling fees.
Our prices may vary or change slightly, without notice, in function of price changes from our suppliers or manufacturers. Our prices might contain typographical errors. If an error should occur, we reserve the right either to honor that price, inform the customer of the reason for such an error and correct the situation by asking the customer whether the order should stand at the revised price or be cancelled.

Discounts

ElfyShop.com does offer discounts for most products time to time. Discounted prices are indicated on the website.
If you require multiple items and the total is over €1,000.00, please ask for a quotation and we will determine if a discount can be provided or not. At that time, the nature of your order, any repeat business and the possibility of an ongoing partnership will all be evaluated in order to offer you the best possible price.

About shopping cart prices

Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item’s product detail page.
This price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart. Placing an item in your cart doesn’t reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item’s price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it.

Note:
You’re not charged until after your order has entered the shipping process.
If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

About surcharges

Over sized (ordering many items, as wholesale for example, except Ireland, where is free delivery over orders of €150) and extremely heavy items will incur a special shipping surcharge. The surcharge varies depending on the amount, size and weight of the order. This charge will be displayed in the Shipping & Handling subtotal of the order form.

Duplicate payment

How long will it take for the duplicate payment to be paid back to me? What if I do not receive this?
It can take up to 10 days for refund to be issued, but it is quite often sooner (within 3-5 working days).

Will payment be taken before I have received my order?

Will payment be taken before I have received my order, or upon receipt of the order (once I have signed for it)?
Payments are taken when you place your order in ElfyShop.com and it is confirmed your order has been placed (when your order number is generated). When this is shown as being debited from your card or account, is dependent on your bank.
